So WebWork 2.2 is out. Its loaded with quite a bit of goodness but also a few small issues. If you are a java developer and want to know the future of MVC based web development and you're not already using WebWork you should really take a look. Of all the frameworks that I've used (Struts, RAILS, Tapestry, JSF, RIFE, WebWork and SpringMVC) WebWork is still architectural the cleanest design. And with WebWork 2.2 a significant effort has been made at making development easier. Expect this to continue as WebWork becomes an Apache project and replaces Struts.
